The elders are the overseers — or shepherds/pastors of this local church. They have the responsibility to give pastoral leadership in the church. Elders must meet the qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. You can email the elders at elders@clbcmn.org.

Aaron Downs

Prior to coming to Crystal Lake as a pastor in September 2018, Aaron served on staff at Eden Baptist Church where he completed a pastoral internship program. He completed an undergraduate degree in English from Maranatha Baptist University (Watertown, WI), and an MA and ThM from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Kansas City, MO), where he is currently pursuing a PhD in Biblical Theology.

Aaron and his wife, Kate, live in Burnsville, MN. You can contact him at aaron@clbcmn.org or connect on Facebook or Twitter. He also regularly posts on our church blog, Coram Deo.

Josh Huber

Joshua completed his undergraduate degree in Biblical Counseling at Bob Jones University. He then received his Master of Divinity from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Minnesota while completing a pastoral internship at Eden Baptist Church.  Joshua is married to Shannon and they have a son named Elias.

Joshua and Shannon enjoy coffee, walks with their dog, spending time with people, and raising their son. You can contact him at josh@clbcmn.org or connect on Facebook.

Steve Aldridge

Before coming to Resurrection Church, Steve served as Youth Pastor at Jesus Is Lord Church in Rosemount, MN. After that, he served as Pastor of Education at Cedar Ridge Community Church in Eagan and then Director of Adult Education at Minnesota Valley Community Church in Prior Lake.

He completed his B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Michigan State University. He earned Masters of Theological Studies in Biblical Studies at Bethel Theological Seminary (St. Paul) in 1995 and received his Masters of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Minnesota in 2012. Steve is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies (Kansas City, MO).
