Bible Classes resume September 8. Until then, please join us for our 10 AM Worship Service.

Nursery

Resurrection Church offers a nursery for children under 4 years old during our Bible Class hour (9 AM) and our Morning Worship Service (10 AM).

Children's Bible Classes

At this time, we do not offer Children's Church during the 10 AM Morning Worship Service. We do offer children's Bible Classes at 9 AM. Currently, there are two classes: 4-year-old through Kindergarten and 1st through 4th Grade. These classes utilize the Gospel Project curriculum.

Check-IN/Check-Out Procedures

Purpose: “Check-Ins” is a system put in place by Resurrection Church to help consistently ensure the safety of our younger children and visitors. This formalizes the process to ensure children will not be accidentally released to unknown persons and lets the teacher know who they are responsible for. This system also provides confidence to visitors that their children will be well cared for and protected during their visit.

*If this is your first time using our child-care system, please follow the instructions labeled “for first-time visitors” next to the kindle device near the classrooms. If you are a regular attender please continue with the following directions below.

**Parents will be contacted by text message through their phone. Please keep it on vibrate or within sight when using the childcare provided.

Check-in/check-out Procedures (Ages 0-7)

  1. Parents are asked to take their children to the restroom prior to checking-in.
  2. Afterwards please check-in children ages 0-7 using the automated system provided by the kindle systems in the classrooms prior to dropping them off.
  3. Your child can be checked-in by either using your phone number or scanning the church center application on the phone.
  4. Once the child is checked-in, the name label(s) and security code will be printed directly from the printer located under the kindle device.
  5. Attach the name label to the back of the child and then keep the security label in a secure location as it will be required for picking up your children. It may help to attach it to your shirt to ensure that you do not lose it.
  1. Parents must pick up their children immediately at the conclusion of a service or church activity and will use their printed security code to verify pickup.
  1. Any parent/guardian who drops off their child must remain on the church premises for the entire time their child is checked-in. Any exceptions to this policy must be authorized by an elder of the church

Check-in / Check-out Procedures (8+)

Teachers & childcare workers

Teachers will take attendance for children who are older than 8. They will then dismiss the class when they are finished teaching.

Wellness Policy

Resurrection is dedicated to preventing the spread of communicable diseases among children and volunteers. Volunteers may refuse a child on the basis of any symptoms.

  1. Children who appear ill (with the exception of allergies) while participating in a Children’s Ministry activity will be removed from class and placed with another volunteer while the parent is messaged and/or located.
  2. Parents must notify a pastor if their child contracts a severe communicable illness (e.g., meningitis) and has been in contact with other children while at Resurrection.
  3. Neither volunteers nor church staff will give any medication to any child, with the exception of staff/volunteers who have been instructed by a parent of a highly allergic child in need of an EpiPen.
  4. A child or volunteer who has within the last 24 hours vomited or a fever is not allowed to participate (volunteers will need to identify a substitute).
