The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
2 Corinthians 13:13 (CSB)

Though Paul had to confront the Corinthian believers for their sin many times, he intended to build them up and desired that they would become fully mature (2 Cor 13:9-10).

Paul’s blessing consists of three phrases. He wants the Corinthians to have the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. The triune God must be the source of their unity. God gives believers his undeserved favor in Jesus redeeming them through his death and resurrection. The Father demonstrates his love through Christ. Finally, Christians have a relationship with God and their spiritual family members through the Holy Spirit.

What does this mean for us? We also have been given grace from God as we trust in his Son. Our Father faithfully protects us, meets our needs, and mentors us with his wise words in the Scripture. True fellowship happens among us in the church since the Spirit enables us to walk together in love.

When Christ comes again, our maturity will be complete (1 Cor 13:12-13). Then we will all dwell in eternally perfect grace, love, and fellowship with our God. There is no greater blessing than this! Until then, we receive this blessing as an invitation to grow in the grace of Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
